How to read this guide

Transparent about what we know—and what we don’t.

01

Roster

Candidate names, offices and ballot lines come from the Nassau County Board of Elections candidate list dated September 18, 2026.

02

Profiles

Biographies and priorities use public candidate, government and reputable election-guide sources. “Limited public information” means no reliable detail beyond the official candidate listing was located in the reviewed material.

03

Vote review

Detailed voting history appears only for incumbent county legislators and includes every extractable floor-vote outcome in Nassau County’s posted full-session transcripts. Current state lawmakers link to their official Senate or Assembly profiles; state roll-call ingestion is being expanded. A red flag marks a verified Aye/Nay vote against the candidate’s caucus majority on the same action.
