Who Runs NY uses Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and improve the voter guide.
What the analytics can report
The services may report pages viewed, approximate country, region and city, referral source, device or browser type, and aggregate engagement measures. Geographic data is approximate and may be withheld or grouped to protect privacy.
How the information is used
Traffic information is used to find broken or slow pages, understand which voter guides are useful and improve mobile access. Who Runs NY does not use the site to create voter accounts or collect campaign donations.
Important limits
Analytics begins when tracking is installed and cannot reconstruct earlier visits. Small audiences may be hidden by provider privacy thresholds. Do not submit personal information through site search or address tools.
