Nassau County Legislature Races 2026: Who Raised the Most
NYSBOE filings, Nov 5, 2025 – Oct 19, 2026

What it shows
- All 19 Nassau County Legislature districts with 2026 races, ranked by money raised; 38 candidates.
- Each candidate shows contributions raised, money spent (including qualified expenditures, each payment counted once) and where the money came from.
- Up to five top donors and the biggest consultant and expense payees for each candidate.
- A separate line shows party spending allocated to each candidate by party committees (NYSBOE Schedule R), not counted in raised.
Caveats: Raised = itemized contributions plus transfers in. No public matching funds appear for these county races, so none are shown. In-county vs. out-of-county is based on donor ZIP codes compared with Nassau County. Legislative district maps are not in Census files, so donors are not matched to individual districts. Three candidates show $0 raised. For Mazi Melesa Pilip (LD10), her committee (NYSBOE filer 175866) itemized no contributions dated Nov 5, 2025 – Oct 19, 2026: its last contributions are dated Oct 30, 2025, from her 2025 race, and its 2026 January and July reports list only expenses. No 2026 pre-general reports for her committee appear in NYSBOE data as of Oct 31, 2026. The Nassau County PBA PAC reports a $2,600 contribution to her committee on Oct 19, 2026, which is not counted because it is not on her own filings. Lamont E. Johnson (LD2) has a registered committee (filer 592096) with no reported transactions. No NYSBOE committee was found for Christine Barlow (LD19). Douglas J. Segan (LD7) raised $364.81, all from himself. "Party spending for candidate" is shown separately for every candidate: it is the expense that party committees allocated to that candidate on NYSBOE Schedule R ("Expense Allocation Among Candidates") in reports for the 2026 race dated Nov 5, 2025 – Oct 19, 2026. The Nassau County Republican Committee and its primary committee report running totals, so their latest figure is used; the Nassau County Democratic Committee and the New York State Democratic Committee are summed across reports. Each allocation is counted once, and none of it is included in raised or spent. Allocations reported under a different district number are matched to the candidate by name.
